Hi, I'm Priyanka Roy, hailing from the stunning Port Blair, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, India.

I'm a 23-year-old adventurer driven by an insatiable curiosity to learn from the world.

I've always loved spending time watching wildlife and nature documentaries. I feel a deep connection with nature—perhaps my home is to blame, being a literal paradise.

Recent years have brought unexpected twists and turns, making them quite challenging. Honestly, I wanted to escape my day-to-day reality for once. The thought of exploring the world was the only thing that kept me sane—and maybe even alive.

I vividly recall chanting my dream like a mantra (even before it was a thing on the internet): "I want to see this beautiful place we call home. I want to explore new places, experience new cultures, meet new people, and make memories."

For me, travel isn’t just about seeking pleasure—it’s a quest for knowledge, shaping perspectives, understanding the world, and embracing vibrant journeys filled with lessons learned, resilience, challenges, triumphs, and encounters with diverse cultures.

I'm passionate about admiring beautiful skies, exploring landscapes, wildlife viewing, trying out adventure sports, tasting new foods, delving into history and culture, and connecting with local friends to hear their stories. Recently, I’ve also developed an interest in photography and hope to get involved in volunteering.

I’ve always wished to see the Northern Lights in Lapland (it’s the first thing on my bucket list) and experience bioluminescence and the lupins in full bloom in New Zealand. Besides, witnessing the Great Migration in Africa, diving to see the giant manta rays in Raja Ampat, and exploring the Dolomites are also high on my list. As I mentioned, I’m more of a nature lover, which is why my bucket list looks like this. Perhaps it wouldn’t be wrong to say my dream is to visit all the places a human possibly can. Oh yes, I have one more dream, and that would be to visit space for a 15-minute suborbital flight with Blue Origin.

In 2023, I finally turned that dream into reality with a trip to Sikkim. Fast forward to the present, armed with over a year of solo and community travel experience, I invite you to join me on this journey as we create unforgettable memories and explore the transformative power of travel.

Today, I’ve become a girl who stands solo in this world, striving to create the life she always dreamed of. While I have deep desires to explore the world, I also aspire to make a meaningful impact on my islands. I couldn’t be more blessed to have been born in such beautiful islands.
